Flowers and Daddy

Last week Bethan and I took the girls to go pick some flowers. It was lovely. The girls had a blast and it was overall a successful trip. Here are some pics that capture our day

Sawyer and Jane are so cute together. They both will just giggle and giggle. It warms my heart, I pray they will stay friends forever!!!!

Sawyer loves her Daddy time. He is an amazing dad and I can't wait to see him with a boy!!!

We are slowly getting ready for this boy. My parents came up this weekend and we rearranged our bedroom and made room for the pack n play. I have got a good bit of clothes that will last at least until hes 9 months old. I am feeling emotionally ready but daily I have to battle my fears and anxiety with prayer. The Lord is giving me peace and I know that another baby is such a blessing. Even thought it will be a long winter with a toddler an baby I am going to try and cherish the little moments and pray that even though I will be sleep deprived I will enjoy my favorite seasons!!!!

Update on life and cute outfit

Well I haven't blogged in awhile. We've been busy and I have been tired. Trying to get as much sleep now until the new baby comes. We had an amazing time in Florida, it was so worth the adventure down there. Sawyer loved it and keeps asking to go back. =D

My birthday was wonderful. Sawyer and I went to Starbucks and got a special treat then went to the park to feed the ducks, walk, and play on the playground. After that we went to a friends house for lunch and fellowship. That night Clint had to work late so Sawyer and I fixed dinner, ate, and then met Bethan and Jane for some ice cream. The girls had a blast together and Bethan and I had good talks. It was a sweet memory that I will always cherish. The next night Sawyer and I met Clint after work at a little farm that is close to his work. Unfortunately it starting raining as soon as we got there. Boo! Sawyer was sad but we will go back sometime next week. Then we went to Whole Foods and ate dinner, did a little shopping and simply had a fun family outing. We need to do more of those before this baby comes!

Today, I put Sawyer in an outfit that my grandmother made her. It was adorable! I had to take pictures. But right after I got Sawyer in the outfit this happened

Once she calmed down I got a few good pictures. Nothing great but I wanted to capture all angles of Sawyer in the outfit so grandmother could see how precious it looked on her!

Our girl still has her moments but she has been so sweet lately. Here are some favorite Sawyer sayings:

-Whats it mommy (when Clint and I are talking and she wants me to explain to her what we are talking about)
-So pretty mommy (while stroking my hair or touching a dress I have on)
-baby brottther where are you? (looking at my belly and talking to her brother)
-daddy where are you? where are youuuu? (waiting for daddy to come home from work)
-I helpin mommy (whenever she thinks she is helping me do something)
-tank you (after we give her something that she wanted, she does great at thanking us!)

I can't think of anymore at the moment, but as I think of them I will try and add them on here! I am cherishing every moment with this sweet girl. We are going to have a great end of the summer and beginning of fall!!!!

The Park

We have a little park that is super close to our house that we go to several times a week. Sawyer loves it and we have made some sweet friends there. I decided to bring my camera when we went and got some cute pictures of our big girl. She loves showing off for her Daddy!

Such a little sweetie pie! We are packing today and getting ready for our beach trip. Sawyer is excited...we just have to make it through 2 plane rides first...yikes! But I am trying to have a positive attitude and look at everything like an adventure. =D

Potty and pregnancy

This weekend Sawyer poo pooed on the little potty that we have. I am not trying to potty train her but she is in a weird phase where she would prefer to not wear a diaper but at the same time she doesn't want to go in the potty. On Saturday morning I took her diaper off and she was runnig around naked. She started to say "uh oh" and would touch her bottom. I knew she needing to go. She did not want to put her diaper on and she wouldn't sit on the big potty. So I asked if she wanted mommy to get the little potty ( it was in our basement). She said yes. She sat on it and jeep trying to go, it was so cute. Finally out popped two little poo poos :) Daddy gave her a chocolate chip and she was very proud of herself. She hasn't gone since but I'm fine with that. With baby boy coming I'm not really in a rush to train her, I'm thinking this winter. On another note, I have been experiencing a lot of leg, hip, and back pain this pregnacy. It's on my kept side, I think it's my siatic nerve. I went to the chiropractor on Friday and he did stuff that felt great but I am still having pain. Some days it's better than others. Today, I couldn't even walk through a grocery store. I would have to sit down every few minutes. It was pretty funny and Sawyer was ver concerned about her mommy. Every time I say my leg hurts she says, " mommy sit" and then goes over to kiss my leg! We are slowly getting ready for baby brother to come. Our friends brought us back our baby swing that they borrowed so it's up in our family room. I can tell Sawyer is getting excited, she knows something big is happening. Every morning when I get her up she says, "baby brother" . She'll randomly kiss my belly and also say "baby brother" . I'm praying hard that she'll adjust well,be a great helper, and love being a big sister! :) We leave for the beach Saturday with Clint's moms family. So excited! I'll post all about it when we get back.

4th of July

Today was a great day. It started off walking over to our little "town" center for a parade. It was much bigger than I thought it was going to be. It lasted over an hour. I am kicking myself for not bringing my camera. Oh well. Sawyer had a blast. We met some friends from church up there and Sawyer watched the parade with their boys. It was a sweet time and put us in the patriotic mood!

Here are a few pictures of Sawyer right after we got home from the parade. She was tired and ready for lunch and a nap.

During nap time Clint and I watched "The Patriot". I love watching a glimpse of what the men and women had to go through for us to be free in America. After naps our wonderful friends, The Rogers, came over for dinner. Sawyer was thrilled that Jane and Owen were coming over. They had a blast together and as always Clint and I enjoyed Bethan and Brandons company. Clint got our pool ready and the kids splashed and splashed. Owen LOVEs the water. I've never seen a baby have so much fun playing in the water.

It is great being reminded what a gift it is to live in America. I am so thankful for the men and women who fought for our freedom and the men and women who fight now to keep our freedom!
