HOLY COW...

Okay I just want to prepare you all...in this post you will see pictures of a girl who is adorable, precious, beautiful, smart...and yes believe me it's Sawyer. I know, you will think how could this be Sawyer...these pictures are of a big girl and Sawyer is a baby. But I promise you this is my baby Sawyer who is just growing up so fast. This weekend was very fallish here in PA and let me tell you I was loving every minute of it.

Sunday was wonderful. Even though Sawyer and I didn't make it to church because she was still under the weather we had a great day. It was the perfect fall tempature outside, with the perfect fall sky! I had lentil soup going on the stove, cornbread in the bread machine and my little pumpking in her big girl fall clothes and we went on a gorgeous walk to the park (where we had a blast). OKay enough rambling here are the pictures of this big girl who I promise is Sawyer =D

She can color, she can stand all by herself...and look at those blue jeans...too much cuteness!

This picture was taken after a long night for us all, she was bundled up with her mitch match outfit

Playing with Mommy's hat

She played for an hour on our steps having a ball. She was entertaining herself so well, and I just captured the moment!

Look at this face

Look at that butt in those jeans....ahhhh!

Being adorable in another fall big girl outfit

And if you can't tell...she's feeling much better now...praise the LORD! Alright I better go fix some yummy dinner! Hope you enjoyed looking at this big girl who will be one in a few weeks!

Goodbye Epi-Center

Tomorrow morning will mark a big change for Trinity. We have overgrown our previous sight and are now moving into a brand new school building really close to our house. We were meeting in a community center that was a little run down. It served us well for a few months but we are thankful that the Lord is continuing to add to our numbers. I took some pictures a few weeks ago of the Epi-Center.

Here are two pictures of the room that we would gather in to worship. These pictures were taken after the service

This is the outside of the building

This picture is of a few of the kids at Trinity. We are full of life!

We just had 3 baby boys born in the past few months, and we are waiting on a little girl to be born any day now!

Trinity is growing, which all glory goes to God for that. It's difficult planning all the small details, but we try to keep things in perspective and remind ourselves why we are here and who we are serving! Please keep praying for the Lord to give our leaders wisdom, and for him to continue to help us grow.

I'll post pictures of "our" new building in a few weeks.

On a Sawyer note...she has been under the weather this weekend. We aren't sure exactly what is going on. I took her to the doctors and they said her throat was really red. She had a temp a few nights ago of 104.1...I was scared! Now she doesn't have a temperature but she is still not herself. Very fussy, cranky, and if something doesn't go her way she loses it! We are praying for a better night sleep tonight!

Have a great Sunday and enjoy this amazing fall weather! =D

11 months

Okay so our monthly post is a little late as usual. We've had a busy few weeks around here, and they are going to keep getting busy through October! I'll start out with what Sawyers day looks like:

Wakes around 6:30-7:00
Bottle (half formula/half whole milk)
Play in family room
Breakfast- Oatmeal/cereal with fruit
Play in room/read books
Nap 9:30-11:00
Go on walk/ park/ friends time
Lunch veggies/fruit/meat
Read books/play
Bottle before nap
Nap 2:00-4:30
Play/wait for Daddy
Dinner 5:30
Play with Daddy, dance, walk, etc...
Bottle at 7:30
Bed by 8

Favorite things to eat: goldfish, grapes, avocado, edamamae, lima beans, chicken, pizza, carrots, bread...and she does have a sweet tooth like her mommy but sweets are very limited!

Right now Sawyer LOVES her baba (bottle), as soon as I say those words her face lights up, she gets the biggest smile, and starts looking all over for her baba. We are slowly transitioning to just whole milk and two bottles a day. I think I will do bottles for a few more months. I love the time with her, holding her and being super cozy!

Sawyer is getting closer to walking. She loves walking with just one hand. She pushes her cart all over the place and can go super fast. Here are some pictures to capture our little soon to be walker:

She loves being outside. It doesn't really matter what she's doing out there, she justs has to be out there. The winter might be a little difficult...but right now it's going to be a gorgeous week and fall is getting ready to be in full force!!! =D Here are some sweet pictures of Sawyer playing outside with her friend Gianna, and her daddy:

Sawyer loves time with her best buddy Jane. These girls love their time together. It can be difficult at times with sharing but they are both learning lots of patience, selflessness, and what it means to be kind. Here are some sweet pics of the girls watching Seasame Street:

Another one of Sawyer's favorite things to do is look at the windows and watch the world go by:

I'll close with some cute pictures of our almost one year old:

Red skin dill potato salad

just made this for church tonight, delicious! Great side for any labor day parties.

3 1/2 lbs red potatoes, cut into 3/4-inch pieces with skins on
1/2-1 cup pickle juice
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup buttermilk
2 -3 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1/2-1 t dried dill)
4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2-1 tablespoon cracked black pepper
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
3 dill pickles, chopped

Cook potatoes in boiling water for approximately 10 minutes.
Drain; transfer to a large bowl.
Drizzle pickle juices over hot potatoes and toss gently.
Cool to room temperature.
Whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, dill, mustard, sugar and pepper in a medium bowl.
Pour over potatoes.
Add onions and pickles to potato salad and toss to blend.
Refrigerate until serving time.

Today a bunch of families met up for soccer at a park close by. The guys played soccer and the mommas played with the kiddie...Im kicking myself for forgetting my camera :( Sawyer had a blast! All her friends were there, she got to swing, see dogs and ducks, and eat watermelon! And to top it off it was a beautiful fall like morning!!

Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Walking

This past weekend my parents were here...it was wonderful! First off, it was so helpful to have them here during the hurricane and to help us clean up (our basement flooded). After the hurricane came and went the weather was beautiful. We enjoyed time at the park, fabulous food at our favorite local restaurants, and quiet time at home letting Sawyer enjoy time with her grandparents. Sawyer loved having them here too, it was so sweet. By the end of their trip she would reach out for my mom...precious! Sawyer also started "walking" this weekend. It all started when my dad was holding her hands and walking around the room, he was bringing her over to my and let go of her hands and she walked right too me, she took about 3 steps on her own. Then for the next day she would do that...but this girl is smart. Once she figured out our trick she did not want to do that anymore. Now if I let go of her hands she drops to the floor and throws a fit, she refuses to walk on her own! Oh well, she will walk in her time...this momma is not in a hurry to have a walking baby!

We tried to capture this little trick...here is the best we got

Today marks September 1st! This means fall is approaching and I couldn't be more excited! Next week it's suppose to be in the 70's here....ahhhhh!!!!

Sorry I haven't been posting much, it's been a little busy around here. I'll try to do some more this weekend!

Enjoy the first day of September!
