We have had a great weekend. We love having another day with daddy. Today we went to the mall and I bought some belated birthday presents. I got some adorable stuff from gap and my sweet neighbor Kellie bought me a Bath and Body Works gift card, and I got some wonderful fall candles and soaps. I also had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season =D
We have done a lot of this this weekend
Clint made a big pallet on the floor last night. We had popcorn and watched a movie. Sawyer did pretty good watching the movie. She got a little distracted and went and brought almost every stuffed animal she had from her room onto the blanket. I think I use to do stuff like that all the time =D. It's been raining here all day so we might have another movie night tonight!
One of Sawyers sweet friends, Gianna, had a birthday party yesterday. It was a pool, mermaid party. We all had a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures from that
We have another birthday party this weekend! So many kids around here born in September and October! These months are going to fly by I think....even though I don't really want them to.
We also cheered on our Cats yesterday. Even though they didn't win it was fun having football on in our house. Every time Clint would say ANYTHING about that game Sawyer wanted to know exactly what was happening. Of course it's hard to explain to her what's going on. It's going to be a long football season with this girl =D. Sawyer had a UK tutu thanks to my mom. She had to put it on, along with her flip flops and winter gloves. So silly.
On a different note, I planted morning glories last summer and loved watching them bloom every morning. I couldn't wait to plant them again this year. Sawyer helped me plant them on Mother's Day. They were starting to grow and then we left for our Louisville trip in June. Clint called me one day and said that the men who come and cut our grass chopped all the morning glories down. Clint was mad. I was mad. When Sawyer and I got back from our trip I was so mad I couldn't even plant more. But then one day we noticed one little survivor. Well here is our survivor now
All these beautiful flowers from one little plant. Every morning Sawyer and I open our door to a new surprise. We count the flowers each morning and it is a sweet memory I hope Sawyer will always cherish.
This weekend Susu and Paw Paw are coming into town. Sawyer is very excited and each day she is asking for them. Can't wait to spend time with them and for Sawyer to get some extra lovin.
