The job update part is not there!?!?! I want to hear it!! :) She is so adorable! I can't believe she is 3 months old already!! As far as the fussy period...like your other friend said in the last post-a lot of babies just go through...but maybe just keep trying different things to see if it helps-like the swing, paci, holding, putting down for a nap a little earlier, or nursing a little earlier than her "schedule" would call for... Caleb did better when I nursed him a little more often in the late evenings than the 3 hours he usually went during the day-and then he seemed to sleep a little longer stretch at night too. It's called cluster feeding-where you do a few closer feedings before bedtime-to "stock up" for the night. Anyway-just a thought-but of course-it's totally just that-a thought. :) Hope she gets over it soon! :)
oh alex---i just remembered my friend with the 4---she too has to feed the fussy little guy a little earlier than her "time for feeding" (i should have said that earlier). she said nursing is only thing that seems to calm him down (she's tried paci, swing, sleep time, cuddle, etc.) so she let's him fuss for a bit & then goes in after so long to nurse again......so she might need another feeding after 7?? which i noticed you still had 5 feedings--which is good! i learned with mary etta (funny the things #3 ends up teaching you--though she was my most finicky one) that i needed to keep 5 feeds & did til almost 9 months or so. but she was just unique in her sleeping/eating--so unlike my other 2! and to keep 5 feeds (esp. when she switched to 4 hr. stretches i kept waking her up at that 9/10ish time to nurse). so i agree with your friend above about maybe another evening feeding is what she wants/needs?? it isn't always easy to figure them out---but looks like you are doing great & you'll get there....before you know it she'll be 4, and you'll "forget" all these little bumps in the road!! : )
